The company responsible for your data
fireprotectionhub.com is operated by Meridian Safety Group Inc., which controls how the personal data covered here gets used. Questions go to service@fireprotectionhub.com.
Information we collect
- Service request form: which system needs work, what kind of building it is, its ZIP code, when the work is due, your name and phone number, plus your email address if you choose to add it. We store the consent statement you accepted along with the time you sent it, your IP address, and the browser you used.
- Phone calls: the number you rang from, the start time and length of each call, the region your area code points to and, for recorded calls, the audio.
- Visits: counts the site keeps itself of activity on its pages, namely which page was viewed, which page sent you there, what type of device you used, and taps on the phone number, on outside links, on the alarm questions and on the form. That usage data goes only to fireprotectionhub.com. No advertising or analytics scripts from outside companies are used, and no tracking cookies are placed.
- Server logs: to keep the site up and block misuse, the host logs IP addresses, requested pages and browser details.
Uses of your information
- A single fire protection contractor serving your location gets your request or call to offer a quote or do the work.
- We keep a record that shows you agreed to be called or texted about that request.
- To figure out what pages and tools are helpful, and correct any that are broken.
- We stop spam, prevent misuse, and follow the law.
Sharing your information
- Fire protection contractors: your details go to a single contractor, the one matched to your call or request. That contractor handles your information under their own privacy policy.
- Service providers: the firms that run the site's hosting, route the phone calls and keep the records. Those providers follow our instructions and nothing more.
- Authorities: when a law demands it, or when people or property need protecting.
In California and some other states, the law may count a paid hand-off of your details to a contractor as a "sale" or "sharing." You can opt out through Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Length of time your information is kept
We hold service requests and consent records for up to 5 years, so we can prove you agreed if a call is ever challenged. Recorded calls stay for up to 1 year. Page‑visit counts are kept without any names attached. Server logs are removed within 90 days.
Your rights
Residents of some states, like California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas, may make these requests:
- find out what personal details are kept about you and receive a copy;
- fix it or erase it;
- refuse the sale or sharing of your personal data, and say no to targeted advertising;
- appeal if any of these requests are refused.
Email service@fireprotectionhub.com saying what you want and including the phone number or email you contacted us from. A reply will reach you within 45 days. Exercising any right never alters the cost or the level of service you get. With your signed approval, an authorized representative can submit a request for you.
When a browser transmits a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that browser as having opted out of sales and sharing.
Phone calls and text messages
Your calls might be recorded so the contractor can capture your building information accurately. Submitting the form means you consent to calls or texts about that request from Fire Protection Hub and the matched contractor, even when automated technology is used. You don't have to agree to this to purchase any service. Reply STOP to any text you receive, and you'll be opted out.
Children
This site is built for building owners, managers, and businesses. It isn't designed for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly gather their information.
